Me and my wife had a great stay at the flamingo hotel, feb 9th - 14th. The hotel is in the perfect area, close to the downtown but not to close , lots of local eateries and cantinas within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the facility is well taken care of. I also enjoyed talking to the staff Tom/Oscar are very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay here at Flamingo immensely! The entire staff was welcoming and caring. And it was really nice to see the same staff day after day. Our stay was 16 nights, and honestly I'm not sure when they take a day off. We got to learn a little about each of them. Breakfast was fantastic, short menu with a great variety that you could order from with a perfect variety, and everything was prepared to order. Fresh coffee every morning, plus tea was available and juice with the breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with the choice of when you wanted them cleaned. The area was really quiet. We were even there over carnaval, and while we heard complaints from people just a block closer, we ourselves heard no noise at all. And it's just 2 blocks off the square. We had one small issue with the air conditioner, and they immediately switched rooms when the tech wasn't able to come that day. In the end, we were very happy with our stay, it's the perfect place. Easily within walking distance of activities, music, restaurants, the water, a bakery, a brewery, and a distillery all on the same block. Close to the hospital, close to the taxi stand....and still very quiet. Could not be a better location. Plus the rooftop lounging area and pool gives gorgeous views of the city and the water both. Had a great stay here in spring 2025. Room was spacious, very clean, and beautiful. Common spaces are great too, especially the roof. It's obvious a lot of loving work was been put into the space. Will stay again if and when I come back to Cozumel. I wish my wife had been travelling with me, the place has a great vibe for a romantic getaway.
We spent a week at the Flamingo Hotel in April and were charmed by the place. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and courteous. We will not hesitate to return to this magnificent hotel.
Outdated, no parking, no elevator, and if you come back late at night you have to wake up the sleeping night worker by banging on the door to get let in…No tv in the room, major ant problem also…. The GOOD would be the made to order breakfast in the morning, altho I have not used it (My fiancé has though). And the cleaning staff are super friendly. We will not return though as there are plenty of better options at this price point.
